This program was implemented to assist Adams senior citizens who may encounter community members or law enforcement officers and, due to dementia, disease or trauma, is unable to advise of their name and/or current address.

The program assists in the identification of such persons by enrolling him/her at the Adams Police Department. The contents of the enrolled person's database will be kept confidential, with information being released only within the law enforcement and medical community as needed. At the time of enrollment, forms with basic contact, personal information, and a liability waiver will be completed. The program participant will also be photographed. They will be issued an I.D. bracelet with a unique number. The police dispatch center will maintain the information so that the quickest response by the proper agency is afforded.

Seniors and their family may call or email Officer Keith McLear, the police department's Senior Liason, for further information.
